Student Communication Cience, Fisip Untan on Monday, March 23rd  2017 we are felling happy because, we are joined   public Lecture in auditorium magister Fisip Untan. The speaker is Dra. Prahastiwi Utari, M.Si, PH.D, she is a lecturer of a university program in March Solo. This discussion about Development of Communication Sciences. The public lecture was attended by students of Communication Studies from the students force of 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Public lecture was attended by several professors such as Dr.Wijaya Kusuma, MA, Aliyah Nur'aini Hanum, Sos, M. Si, Holy Lukitowati, SP, MA, Leo Prima Y, Sos. and Dr. Netty Herawati, M.Sc.

There are three things that need to be a communication :
1. Open (Extrovert), because the world of the work force you to open with other people. Later, after you graduate others people and your team also want people who are open.
2. Having great ideas (out of the box), a communication should have thought out of the box, or have creative ideas. How to bring creative ideas? namely the media reading, watching media, closer in any media form must be familiar with the media. You will never find the greats idea, if only buried for yourself, so it must be communicated to other.
3. Can collaboration (teamwork), a communication should be working with other people because of the demands in the world of work, you must to cooperate because you will not  work alone.
"So you must know what you want to be the future " So from now you should think would be formed by the study program like what. What is given Program Study for you. Do not just accept and start thinking critically. Do not feel that given this study program is sufficient for you, because the reality is not 30% did not meet your needs. So do also we are entrusting that this study program can form ourselves 100%. You still have to look for more things that can add to your ability.
Search and find all the activities that can support the science. Next, about science what is meant by communication? And what is that information? Is the same information with a message? if the information was certainly the message but, if the message is not necessarily information. So the information is anything that reduces uncertainty.
In Communication siences, the level communication is interpersonal communication, group communication, organizational communication, mass communication. Interpersonal communication, the characteristics is face to face and discernible effect, but it can turn into communication group, when there is decision making group. If he shifted again to form a formal organization, he became the organization's communication. If he uses the media, he became mass communication.
Communication theory can be learned if she had seen phenomenon media. The existence of new media is a phenomenon that is most favored by the public, for example line, whattshapp, instagram, blackberry massanger, etc. The phenomenon of New Media makes all communication theory that long to be blurry, so now it appears the new theory is the theory of interpersonal media (medited interperconal communication). Furthermore, the research methodology analises cyber media, so research using qualitative and quantitative combined. So we have to learn the development of communication. All phenomena should be attributed to communication if you want to become a communications student.

Tradisi Fenomenologi Seorang Profesor komunikasi Universitas Colorado, Robert Craig, telah membagi tujuh bidang tradisi dalam teori komunikasi yang disebut sebagai 7 tradisi dalam Griffin (2000:22-35), salah satunya yang akan kita bahas kali ini adalah Tradisi Fenomenologi.
